Growing Together with Love, Courage and Joy
At Idle CE Primary School, we believe that every child is unique, valued and wonderfully made. Our vision, 'Growing together with love, courage and joy,' is at the heart of everything we do and reflects our commitment to helping every member of our school community flourish in learning, faith and life.
Inspired by the Parable of the Mustard Seed (Matthew 13:31–32), we recognise that even the smallest beginnings can lead to remarkable growth. Just as a tiny seed grows into a strong and thriving tree, we believe that every child has the potential to achieve great things when nurtured, encouraged and supported.
Our vision guides our decisions, shapes our curriculum and influences the relationships we build with one another. We work together to create a school where everyone feels safe, valued and able to grow.
Our Christian Values
Love
We show kindness, respect and compassion to one another. We celebrate differences, support those in need and build positive relationships based on care and understanding.
Courage
We encourage children to be brave in their learning, to persevere when things are difficult and to stand up for what is right. We help our children develop confidence, resilience and a belief in their own potential.
Joy
We believe that learning should be engaging, inspiring and full of opportunity. We celebrate achievement, cherish friendships and create a school environment where children can experience happiness, wonder and a sense of belonging.

Living Our Vision
Our vision is for every child to:
- Grow academically through a rich and ambitious curriculum.
- Grow personally through new experiences and opportunities.
- Grow spiritually through reflection, understanding and faith.
- Grow socially through positive relationships and service to others.
- Grow in confidence, resilience and aspiration.
By working together with families, our church and the wider community, we aim to ensure that every child leaves Idle CE Primary School ready to embrace the next stage of their journey with love, courage and joy.
"Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree."
