Hello and welcome to Year 5!
Year Five is an exciting and significant year in your child’s primary school journey. As they enter Upper Key Stage Two, children build upon the knowledge and skills developed in previous years while growing in confidence, maturity and independence. It is a year of challenge, opportunity and preparation as they begin to look ahead to their final year of primary school and beyond.
Our engaging and ambitious curriculum provides opportunities for children to deepen their understanding, think critically and apply their learning across a range of exciting topics. We foster a love of learning through creativity, collaboration and challenge, ensuring that every child feels supported to achieve their best.
In Year Five, we believe every child has the potential to succeed. We celebrate individual strengths and achievements while nurturing perseverance, responsibility and self-belief. We look forward to seeing our pupils develop into confident, capable learners who are ready to embrace the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
